We cannot access the Water Meter?
If we are not provided a meter reading, a bill will be based off estimates. However, some suppliers allow a request for a meter reading . Please inform us if you were unable to take a meter reading. You can do this by clicking 'Add Additional Info' within the move submission.
How to find the Water Meter:
Water meters may be inside - usually under the kitchen sink where the supply comes into the property. Or outside - in an underground box in the garden, or the footpath outside the property.
What will the water bill be based on?
It will depend if it is metered or unmetered. If the water is unmetered, the bills always be estimated
If the water is metered, the agency should provide us a meter reading if possible. It is only a requirement that the supplier reads the meters once every two years.
