Letting us know about a Void Period

Adding a void period

When you submit a move out to us, you will have the option to advise us if there is going to be a void period and provide the void period details and where you would like bills for this interim period to be sent. You will be able to choose between sending bills to you at the agency, directly to the landlord or to the property. Please note that we do not contact the landlord directly, we are just passing this information on to supplier so that they can open the landlord's void account.

The landlord does not want to be contacted directly about the void period, but the portal is asking for their email address. What should I do?

If the void period bills will be c/o the agency the best thing is to put in an agency email address (we suggest a shared inbox e.g. info@ or perhaps your own). This means that any email communication relating to this property will come through to the agency rather than the landlord.

The landlord lives overseas, can I send void period bills directly to them?

Please select 'non UK address' and enter the overseas address in here. We will advise the suppliers of this address, however we cannot guarantee that all suppliers will send correspondence to non UK properties. Please also enter the landlord's email address in that section.
